A fusion of Swiss cabin, fairy tale and Swiss family Robinson. The Firs treehouse has been built in an old hedgerow line of 6 Oak trees, with the intention of connecting all the trees together using a series of rope bridges and platforms. The treehouse is anchored to the tree at two points using TAB’s (treehouse attachment bolts). This allows the tree to move in the wind independently. The majority of the weight is supported by an oak frame that also supports the lower deck. Our customer wanted a social area in which they could enjoy the space on sunny days without the shade of the canopy. Access from the lower deck to the treehouse is via a drawbridge and stairs leading through the canopy of the tree. This treehouse has been built for both children and adults with many add-ons such as swings, dome windows and a mezzanine for camp outs.
