The Pavillion

A contemporary style pavilion with a clean and modern aesthetic. Flooded with natural light from panoramic windows. This self-supporting oak frame structure is anchored to the ground using custom low ground pressure shoes to protect the tree roots. A combination of Steel roof at the rear and Cedar shingle on the front will keep the bad weather out, and fully insulated tongue and groove internal walls will keep the heat in. Timber windows with toughened glass as standard are fitted into the Larch-clad wall, and a traditional Oak door provides the primary access. An internal ship’s ladder leads up to a mezzanine for camping out or a quiet hideaway to read a book. In the rear wall is a hidden door that leads out to a secret deck looking down over a secluded stream accessed via a fireman’s pole.
