THE PROCESS
Planning
We start with a site visit and come to your house to check out the space and find out more about what you are looking for.
Step One
Tree Survey – The Hunter Treehouses team will visually inspect the tree’s condition for any safety concerns, and we will record the individual tree dimensions to use in the treehouse plans.
Step Two
Site Survey – We will take measurements of the existing ground levels and tree spacings to convert into a digital map of the area.
The Design Phase
We like to involve our customers as much as possible in the design process. This helps us to build the perfect treehouse designed for you.
Sketches and feedback – We will present you with sketches of ideas, styles and different materials to choose from, as well as some mood boards for inspiration. We can discuss the budget and will gather your feedback to develop our initial design directions.
Artistic Impressions – Based on the feedback from the initial sketches, our architect will produce digital drawings of the different design directions. We will then have a meeting to decide on a creative direction.
Structural Engineer Design Review – We will have our structural engineer review the chosen designs and advise on load calculations.
Final Artistic Impressions based on agreed direction – This is where you will see the finalised design of your Treehouse to scale.
Materials planning, project planning and budgeting – We will source all the materials used in the project and put a time plan together for each section of the build. We will then deliver a breakdown of the build time and cost.
The Build Phase
Hand-built on-site by Hunter Treehouses – We will start by fabricating any fixings and steel work in our workshop whilst delivering materials to the site. During this time, a two-man team will prepare the site and remove any hazardous branches and dead wood from overhead. Once the site is prepared and the materials are on site, we will commence with the build. We will be onsite 4-5 days a week until the build is complete.
After Care
We offer a 12-month guarantee on workmanship and a yearly check-up service.
